Animal ID: 17130Zack (male)

German Shepherd Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Zack #17130 is a very handsome ten months old white German Shepherd mix who was owner surrendered because he did not get along with their cats and older dog. However, Zack played very well with two of the shelter dogs in the play yard and showed no signs of aggression, so think it depends on the dog. Zack is extremely people friendly, and his former owner said he is good with children which is very important. He is also house-trained and is a very smart dog. Zack is neutered, Heartworm negative, up to date on shots, and weighs around 50 to 60 pounds. We are hoping this great young dog gets a new home, and this one will be fur-ever. ... Animal ID: 17117Sugar Boy (male)

Domestic Cat    Age: Adult

Sugar Boy #17117 is a sweet neutered male cat with cute black and white markings. Sugar Boy was owner release, reason being too many cats for situation. Sugar is 8 years old so has a long time to live a good stable life. He is sweet and calmly thoughtful. He just looked around, never hissed at any of the other cats. He comes forward for petting. His ideal home would be a forever one with maybe another cat for a pal but for sure some folks to love and pamper her. Sounds like he came from a multi cat family so integration maybe be easier? Animal ID: 17121 FosterDozer (male)

American Staffordshire Terrier Mix    Age: Puppy

Dozer 17121 is one of the cutest dogs you will ever see. He appears to be a mix of Staffordshire Terrier and Corgi! He has short, stout little legs with feet that bow out (Corgi, but his head is all Staffy! He has an amazingly sweet personality, and plays great with other dogs. He plays terrifically with the puppies currently at the shelter when they are in the play yard together. He is young, too, maybe around a year or so, and is a compact little guy. One of the ACOs called him a little bulldozer, hence the name, Dozer. He is not neutered, but has a vet appointment to get that taken care of ASAP. With his unique looks and great ... Animal ID: 17110Ronan (male)

Lab Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Ronan #17110 - This super cute black lab puppy has an amazing personality. We think he is around four months old, and already shows how well he plays with other dogs. He has good dog manners, and his social personality is already blossoming. We think he will be a medium size dog, around 60 pounds, and is mostly lab. He is learning to walk better on a leash, and with some potty training and patience, he is going to make a fantastic fur-ever dog. As with all puppies, you need to make sure you are ready for potty training, leash training, and normal chewing. If you are, then Ronan may well be the puppy for you and your family. Did we ... (Read More)mention how smart he was? He is already learning to sit for treats. Sadly, Ronan is still at the shelter, but we are hoping for a foster or forever home soon. Lab Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Bentley #17113 appears to be around 12 weeks old. He is such a cute and playful puppy, and it is very sad and he is in the shelter without a home. Bentley is a very social little guy. You can already tell that he is going to love playing with other dogs, and also is a people dog. He loved having all the attention from the GAP girls at the shelter, and just struts around like he owns the play yard. We are not sure of his breed, but think he may be a lab/terrier mix. We are definitely sure that with a good owner, Bentley will make a great dog when he grows up. Bentley is in a foster home. Please contact foster mom Victoria at ... Lab Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Guinness #16574 - first came to the Euless Shelter when he was only around 8 weeks old. He is now around nine months old, neutered, vaccinated and ready for a new home. He was such a cute puppy and quickly adopted at an adoption event in June. Sadly for him, he was recently returned to us due to his owner's not being able to keep him in his apartment. Guinness is absolutely wonderful with other dogs, has good dog manners when playing, and seems to love everyone he meets. This sweet baby is absolutely gorgeous and has the personality to match. He has the most beautiful eyes, and although we are not sure of his breed, he definitely has ... (Read More)the coloring of a yellow lab, but is smaller weighing around 50 pounds. He is young, so will need to continue his training and will need exercise like any young dog. However, his former owner said he is good with his potty training and rarely has any accidents.     Jake is a beautiful young black and brown tabby with white feet and too pretty a face for a boy. His white accents really make his striping pop. Jake loves wand toys, his cat tree, the laser, and especially playing with the other kitties in the house. Jake takes a while to warm up but once he does, there are loud purrs. Jake can be timid when meeting new folks but has proven that once comfortable, he makes a great cuddler. Border Collie Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Scarlett #17084 - Border Collie/Cattle Dog Mix - Scarlett was picked up as a stray with her buddy Skyler and it appears that while they may have been someone's pet at some point, they were in need of some serious TLC! Scarlett was brought in with an infected eye that they vet believes may have been an old injury. She is on antibiotics and it is healing very well! Black Mouth Cur Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Skyler #17080 Skyler is an absolutely gorgeous, 7 month old Black Mouth Cur that was picked up with her buddy Scarlett as a stray. She seems to have been someone's pet as she is in good physical health and is potty trained. However, it appears that she was not socialized well and has significant separation anxiety. We are working with the vet and have consulted a trainer regarding her anxiety. This is heartbreaking as she is an absolutely stunning and SWEET puppy that will make someone a loving and loyal companion. She has not shown any signs of aggression with the other dogs in the home but is too fearful to play or interact with any ... (Read More)other dog than her buddy. She feels safest when she is around humans and wants to stay in close proximity to us at all times. Therefore, she will need to go to a home where someone is with her during the day. Domestic Cat    Age: Young Kitten

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Incontinent

T'Pol #16780 is 5 months old , 5 lbs, is fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed. This little treasure had a rough start in life. She was born without a tail so her fate was not known when she came to rescue as tailless cats are often incontinent. This little sweety battled a bacterial infection, intestinal worms, and later ear mites. She came through all of it like a champ and is now a thriving, rambunctious and completely sweet kitty. She has no problem controlling her urine and never pees outside of the box, however it does appear that she will always be fecal incontinent. She spends most of her time in my bathroom as it is easy to ... (Read More)clean up. She only comes out for short, supervised strolls around the house. This will be a lifetime issue for her and it is a big commitment so she will need a very special home who is prepared to love her for her entire life despite her issues. She has not been around other cats but she has been around dogs and seems perfectly content and comfortable around them. She is full of personality and spunk. German Shepherd Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Jared James aka JJ #17180 is one special boy! Jared is an 8 month old German Shepherd mix. He is not going to be a large dog as he is almost full grown and under 50 lbs. He is a loving, silly, sweet dog who wants so badly to make you happy. He is not potty trained but is getting much better about lifting his leg around the house since he was neutered late last week. He really wants to please you so training him should not be difficult. He is completely kenned trained and spends about 6 hours a day in the kennel most days of the week. He is hilarious as he spins around in circles trying to catch his tail. You can actually hear his ... (Read More)teeth clapping together as he spins in circles in a desperate attempt to catch that tail!! He is so funny. He is very adoring to people, plays very well with other dogs, and has a normal interest in cats. He sleeps with his foster mom all night long and does great once he gets over his puppy fidgeting and settles down. He would love another larger dog or puppy to play with as he can get a little rough playing with smaller dogs. He has never chewed something that he shouldn't have although he loves for you to sit on the couch and scratch his belly and he will sometimes try to chew on your shoe as you are doing that.     Rosey Rojo #17005 is a loveable looking Corgi/Staffy mix. Rosey has a gorgeous red coat, cute little wrinkles on her head, perk ears, a long body that reminds you of a corgi, but the face of a Staffordshire terrier. This unique combination makes for a very cute puppy with an awesome personality. She was found on the streets and was ill - Dr. Riley helped her with her symptoms and she received a clean bill of health. Rosey is about 11 months old and weighs 42 pounds. Animal ID: BoardingShani (female)

Lab    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Shani is a purebred chocolate lab who has had a very sad life. She was rescued as a young adult four years ago from California and came to Texas with her new adopted mom. Sadly, she was then left with relatives who did not really want Shani, so she was left in the backyard without much attention. This summer Shani developed a bad skin infection from fleas. She owners actually took her to the shelter to be put down, but they forgot their driver's license, so they had to take her back home. Fate intervened and a friend who loved Shani contacted us about rescuing her. We contacted a lab advocate who agreed to sponsor her, and GAP took ... (Read More)her into our rescue. Shani is now deemed healthy, Heartworm negative, and up to a date on vaccinations. She walks well on a a leash, is potty trained, and loves to play ball. Animal ID: 16978 FosterLorrie (female)

American Staffordshire Terrier Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Contact foster mom Desiree at desireelcarter@hotmail.com for more information! Lorrie #16978 has spent much of her young life as a puppy in a shelter. She came from the Carrollton shelter to the Euless shelter, only to find that it was very crowded, too. Her pictures do not do justice to this very special little puppy. When her ears are up, she is so super cute, but today, she was too scared to put them up for the camera. Sadly, she was shaking in her kennel, and it was so heartbreaking to think this is what she has known for most of her short life. She appears to only be around four months old, and currently weighs around 25 pounds. ... (Read More)She is so loving and shy, but we think she is going to be a social butterfly when she gets into a foster or fur-ever home. She appears to be a terrier mix, and we think may grow to be a medium size dog around 40 pounds. If you are thinking of fostering or adopting, please take time to meet Lorrie today. She deserves a loving home and to not grow up in a shelter. So sad for her! Contact foster mom Desiree at desireelcarter@hotmail.com for more information! (Less)

Animal ID: Foster HomeTucker (male)

Pug Mix    Age: Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Tucker is about 6-7 years old. He maybe a pug/beagle/doxie mix. Don't let his age deter you from reading more. He still has a lot of spunk. Tucker was owner surrendered because he growled at the grandkids, so a home with small children is not ideal. However when he came to the shelter he was not feeling well. After a visit to the vet it was determined Tucker had an infection. Once he was on antibiotics he felt so much better. Tucker has also lost a few pounds. He loves to go on walks. Animal ID: 15437 FosterRosie (female)

American Staffordshire Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Rosie #15437 - Little Rosie is 50 lbs of energy. Just over 3 years, spayed, vaccinated and Heartworm negative! She is all muscle and a very sweet girl. However, she is also very protective, and if she hears a strange sound, she will let you know about it. She is currently being fostered by a family with other dogs, and gets along with them just fine. She even plays with one of the other dogs that is twice her size, and will run circles around him. She enjoys walks on a leash and rides in a car/truck. I'm not sure that I would recommend her in a home with a wooden privacy fence, though. When she hears, or sees, something on the other side, ... (Read More)she will do what is necessary to get to it, including chewing through it. Her perfect home would be with someone that is there most of the time. She enjoys being outside (especially if there are squirrels present), but also enjoys laying beside her human companion and getting a good belly rub. Animal ID: Foster HomeElsa / Vivia / Cricket (female)

Pit Bull Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Sweet Elsa had a rough start in life and was let down several time by several people. She was severely burned on her private area as a young puppy. After coming to rescue and getting the treatment she needed she was adopted a few times and was not given the attention or time that she needed and now has lasting issues but has been with me as my foster for 8 months and has come so far. She is a great dog and loves people very much. She is great with kids as well! She is house trained and crate trained and loves to cuddle. However she can be dog reactive and has been in training for her dog aggression and is doing so great. She does great with ... (Read More)my dogs and fosters after she takes time to get use to them. Elsa would do best in a home as an only pet or with someone that can give her time to adjust to the existing pets and knows how to do proper dog introductions. Elsa can jump a six foot wooden fence so she must be monitored when in the backyard or needs an 8 foot fence. She does not go over my fence anymore now that i always have the e-collar on her in the backyard. She responds really well to the e-collar. Elsa is about 3 years old now and weighs about 50 lbs. She is so sweet and does not deserve anything that life has dealt her. She needs a true forever home that will love her as family and give her the attention and care she so deserves. If you are interested in giving a great forever home to this sweet girl please email me for an application at charmedfan0788@gmail.com Pit Bulls/Staffordshire Terriers/bully breeds cannot be adopted to renters--home owners only! Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Courtesy post thru Trinity GAP-Adoption thru party listed below - Mid-Cities Area- DFW Mitzi is looking for a forever home. Animal ID: 14885-FosterRegan (male)

Boxer Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Regan has adjusted VERY well since being here. He just wants to be loved. After spending many weeks in a kennel, I took the chance that Regan just needed to burn off a LOT of pent up energy. Many people judged him as being aggressive, but I felt the only thing wrong with Regan was he needed to be active. Sure enough, I introduced him to our small pack, and he became a completely different dog. Regan's age and breed cries out for activity. It didn't take long at all for him to warm up to our dogs, and began playing with them. He will chase a ball for as long as you will throw it. His perfect home would have another medium to large dog that ... (Read More)will play with him, and a doggie door. He does not like cats. I sincerely believe with the right trainer/training, this sweet boy can learn ANYTHING. I am very impressed with him. Someone is going to end up with a GREAT dog. Needs a home with another dog as he is very playful and loves canine companionship!! He is not kennel/crate trained, but IS doggie door trained. (Regan is not good with cats so should be in a No Cat Home!! Also no birds!! Brings out the Pointer instincts in him!!) I am available to any and all questions!!
